Detroit Speed Dash Insert – 69 Camaro
Detroit Speed has designed and is manufacturing a unique steel dash insert. It is a bolt-in upgrade for your 1969 Camaro, and is designed to accept the stock dash pad and stock fasteners. This dash is fabricated from 18-gauge steel and is offered in two versions depending on your needs. One version is offered with provisions to bolt in the stock heater/air-conditioning controller, and the second version is provided without this provision. This allows you to mount a custom aftermarket controller.
The dash comes with mounting studs for the stock windshield wiper switch and a hole for the stock headlight switch. A stock radio or DIN style stereo mount can be used in the stock location.
This dash allows you to select your favorite style and size of gauges up to 5″ in diameter. You also have the option of determining your own personal layout for the gauge positions. An A/C duct is provided on the left upper panel if needed. The dash is sold in bare metal without gauge holes.
