Ridetech Level 2 Suspension Package – 67-69 Camaro
The LEVEL 2 system provides more tuning with the addition of a ShockWave® front kit and the enhanced RidePro Digital™ control system. The front ShockWave® system is a simple bolt-on install that include our STRONGARM™ tubular control arms. The single shock and air spring unit provides a cleaner appearance and offers adjustable shock valving to aid in tuning (dual adjustable valving is available). A 4-Link AirBAR® will position the rear more precisely and eliminate the flexing and instability of the leafspring rear. The 5 gallon RidePro® Digital compressor system provides 4 way digital control. It allows 3 system air pressure presets to provide accurate adjustments with the touch of just one button.
Front System
ShockWave®
The ShockWave® mounts much like a coilover and replaces both the coil spring and the shock absorber. The Shockwave kit bolts in using the existing upper shock mount. The Shockwave system lower the vehicle from the factory ride height and provides the ability to go even lower when not being driven by lowering the air pressure further.
StrongArms
StrongArm tubular control arms not only improve suspension geometry and handling, they also make installation even easier. The added benefit when replacing control arms is new bushings and ball joints. No more worn out components.
Rear Suspension
AirBar®
The AirBar® system is a 4-link rear replacement that eliminates the use of OEM leafsprings. Installation of this system is fairly simple and only relies on the end user to weld 4 small tabs witch locate the upper bars to the axle. (All welding is done to the axle not the body) The original front leafspring hangers locate the new lower bars in the front and the stock axle pad locates the opposite end.(Note: if ordering a new rear axle, order to fit O.E.M suspension) The upper cradle assembly bolts into the stock frame on the car and locates the upper bars and shockwave mounts. With this kit installed you will notice a dramatically improved ride quality with superior handling performance.
Control System
RidePro® Digital
The Level 2 package comes equipped with Ridetech’s Airpod Digital compressor system outfitted with 2 compressors and a 5 gallon tank, and includes level sensors for increased accuracy.
