Sales Associate

A Dreamers Rods & Pickups Northwest sales associate is someone who is great at taking care of customer needs, has a strong knowledge of the aftermarket restoration industry, and is able to provide technical support to customers trying to install the products we sell. A positive attitude and attention to detail are a must when providing assistance to our clientele. Compensation is hourly and depends on experience. Qualified applicants must possess the following:

  1. Knowledge of the aftermarket restoration industry with a focus on Pre ’72 Chevy & Ford vehicles
  2. A vast knowledge of automotive parts and how they work
  3. High level of mechanical aptitude
  4. Ability to follow through with given tasks
  5. Excellent customer service and phone skills
  6. Drive to further the company along with yourself
  7. Ability to learn new things in an ever changing industry
  8. Computer skills (web design experience a bonus)
  9. Work well with others in a team environment

Service & Fabrication Technician

Dreamers Rods & Pickups Northwest is looking for an experienced technician to join our service and fabrication team. Duties will include everything from a simple engine tune to a complete build from the frame up. Our technicians must have an extensive knowledge of the entire vehicle and be able to perform work to the highest possible standards. Typical jobs include complete vehicle re-wires, brake and fuel system plumbing, front and rear clip installations, fuel injection systems, disc brake conversions, and vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostics. A brief description of required skills is listed below.

  1. Able to install aftermarket suspension systems such as Mustang II, 4-Bar, ladder bars, and air ride systems
  2. Knowledge of aftermarket air conditioning system parts and installation
  3. Wiring diagnostic skills and ability to completely re-wire a vehicle
  4. Brake system configurations and knowledge of how all types of brake valving work
  5. Understanding of a wide variety of fasteners and fittings such as AN, Inverted Flare, and Pipe Thread
  6. Ability to set-up a chassis with the foresight of exhaust, steering, brake and related clearances
  7. Basic knowledge of wheel fitments and backspacing
  8. High attention to detail
  9. A complete hand tool set (most power tools will be provided)
  10. Welding experience

Inventory & Shipping / Receiving

The Inventory & Shipping / Receiving job is an entry level position with a chance to advance to a sales associate position. You will be responsible in assisting in the day-to-day shipping, receiving and parts tagging duties. A general list of duties are:

  1. Confirm purchase orders with vendors
  2. Package products
  3. Ship Orders
  4. Check order statuses for customers
  5. Call customers when orders arrive
  6. Tag parts and put into inventory
  7. Change Reader Board
  8. Handle parts warranties and returns
  9. Maintain Showroom
